How the protection works

Garlic is a launch layer for pump.fun that makes copying a fresh launch impossible for 3 hours.

1

Connect your wallet

Non-custodial from the first click. Phantom connects, you sign, we never touch your keys or your SOL.

2

Enter the coin identity

Name, ticker, X link, website and image. Each field is checked live against every launch from the last 3 hours.

3

Green ticks, ready to go

Fuzzy name matching and image similarity catch near-copies, not just exact ones. All clear and the create button unlocks.

4

Live on pump.fun

The coin deploys straight to pump.fun and shows up here, protected for the next 3 hours.

The details

What counts as a copy

Near-identical names, names containing a protected name, one-character ticker edits, matching website or X links, and images that are visually similar — including mirrored, cropped or re-compressed versions of a protected image.

The 3-hour window

Protection starts the moment a coin launches and lasts 3 hours — the window where sniping actually happens. A launch attempt that is never signed only holds its identity for 15 minutes.

Enforced in the database

The conflict check runs inside the registry itself under a lock, so it cannot be bypassed by calling the API directly and two identical launches cannot slip through at the same moment.

Wallet safety

Every transaction is inspected in your browser before your wallet signs it. Anything touching a program outside the pump.fun set is rejected automatically.
